
JungHee Trexler (she/her) is a dedicated counselor with seven years of experience in hospital, church, and private practice settings. Originally from Seoul, Korea, she is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). JungHee earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2015 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature and Language from Soonchunhyang University in Korea.
JungHee’s therapeutic approach is rooted in a multicultural and systemic perspective, incorporating evidence-based practices such as schema therapy, EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and the Gottman Method. She is highly regarded for her expertise in schema therapy, effectively addressing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma. By integrating analytical psychotherapy into schema modality work, JungHee empowers clients to break free from limiting patterns and embrace their authentic selves, fostering personal growth and resilience.
